Heat supply starts in Chisinau

Chisinau, 15 October /MOLDPRES/- The heating season started today in Chisinau. About 50 buildings have been connected to the thermal agent so far.

The head of the Communication and Public Relations Department of Termoelectrica company, Elena Junghina, said that before the connection to the heating, the buildings managers must present technical passports on the preparation for connecting heating.

“So far, seven apartment buildings, a kindergarten, a school, 10 medical institutions, 10 private houses, two higher education institutions, 14 businesses and public institutions have been connected to the heat,” she said.

Last year, heat supply in the capital began in the first part of October.

For the following days, meteorologists forecast stable weather. The air temperatures will reach +24 degrees during the day in the south and at night - up to +5 degrees Celsius in the north.
