Factory for producing ewe's cheese to be constructed in industrial park from south Moldova town

Chisinau, 16 October /MOLDPRES/ - A factory for producing ewe’s cheese will be constructed in the Cimislia Industrial Park, southern Moldova. The park resumed its work following a visit by Economics and Infrastructure Minister Chiril Gaburici in last August.   

Gaburici said that the resumption of the work of the industrial park and the starting of the works to build a factory for producing ewe’s cheese was the result of cooperation between local and central authorities. According to the Economics Ministry, the destination of the industrial park ran the risk of being withdrawn, for reasons that the land had not been turned to account and decision-makers had not benefited from the facilities provided by the local authorities in the carrying out of entrepreneurial activities.   

„The Cimislia district distinguishes itself by breeding sheep and the sale of ewe’s cheese can be a profitable business. Therefore, the opening of a factory for producing ewe’s cheese in the Cimislia Industrial Park will also create jobs and will develop the local infrastructure,” the mayor of Cimislia town, Gheorghe Raileanu, said.   

Ten industrial parks were set up in Moldova, where 68 economic agents work. More than 3,000 jobs were created at these parks, production worth 6.8 million lei was made and sold and taxes and payments worth one billion lei were paid to the national public budget.
