Moldovan authorities selected company to perform rehabilitation of building affected by explosion

Chisinau, 17 October /MOLDPRES/- The municipal authorities selected the company that will carry out the rehabilitation works of the residential block affected by the explosion occurred on 6 October evening.

According to the press service of Chisinau city hall, the general housing and planning department was invested as a beneficiary of the project for the restoration of the building. Also, as the designer of the objective was set the Municipal Design Institute Chişinău-proiect, the legal successor of the author who designed the dwelling house in 1979.

At the same time, it was decided that the construction works will be carried out by the company ExFactor Grup, which was invested with the role of general contractor of the project. The company has voluntarily executed the work to deal with the consequences of the explosion so far.

At the same time, authorities announced that the number of victims of deflagration has increased to five.

An explosion occurred on 6 October evening in a residential building in the Riscani district of the capital. Five people, including a child, have died in the blast. The government announced it would allocate 50,000 lei to the families of the deceased.
