Moldovan deputy premier meets Lithuanian ambassador

Chisinau, 17 October /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Lesnic today received Ambassador of Lithuania to Moldova Kestutis Kudzmanas on a courtesy visit, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.

In the context of the discussion, the deputy prime minister pointed out the degree of development of the Transnistrian settlement process, as well as other general aspects from Moldova’s eastern district.

At the same time, the officials exchanged opinions on the present stage of development of the bilateral relations and reiterated the mutual interest in deepening the dialogue and boosting the Moldovan-Lithuanian cooperation in diverse sectors.

In the end, the ambassador of Lithuania reconfirmed the firm position of backing the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Moldova. He expressed thanks for the general framework and dynamic of the dialogue on Transnistria-related issues.
