About 90% of real estate tax paid in 2018

Chisinau, 18 October /MOLDPRES/- Over 127 million lei were accrued to the budget from real estate tax, which was paid by 425 thousand private people. Thus, until 15 October, when the deadline for payment of the tax expired, 90 percent of the 142 million lei calculated for payment in the current year were collected.

Persons who have not paid the tax in time will be penalized for each day of delay, 0,0384% of the amount of tax on unpaid real estate.

Property owners who fully paid the tax up to the end of June benefited from a 15 percent discount.

The State Tax Service reiterates that real estate tax and / or land tax is paid in equal shares no later than 15 August and 15 October.
