Chisinau, 19 October /MOLDPRES/- The Regulation on the organization and functioning of the Material Reserves Agency was published in the Official Journal of Moldova today.

The document establishes the legal status, mission, basic functions, duties, rights, as well as the organization and operation of the Material Reserves Agency. The agency is an administrative authority subordinated to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, responsible for the implementation of state policy in the state material reserves and mobilization. It is headed by a director, who can be appointed and dismissed by Minister of Internal Affairs.

The government decision approving the Regulation comes into force upon its publication in the Official Journal.

Also, the issue includes the Regulation on organization and functioning of the Military Inspectorate of Defense Ministry and on organization and functioning of the National Agency for Employment.
