Moldovan farmers receive subsidies worth about 315 million lei

Chisinau, 19 October /MOLDPRES/ - About 315 million lei has been provided to farmers from Moldova in form of subsidies for a number of 2,300 files till 18 October 2018.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, a specialist in the public relations at the Agency of Interventions and Payments for Agriculture (AIPA), Olga Calmas, has said that the institution received more than 4,300 files worth about 670 million lei. As many as 2,500 files of them have been already authorized for payment and the rest are to be considered by authorities.

The deadline for submitting the files on applying for subsidies expires on 31 October 2018. The people interested can submit applications to AIPA Territorial Offices.

The overall value of the National Agriculture and Rural Environment Development Fund for this year amounts to 900 million lei.
