Pavel Filip stressed that infrastructure was one of the pillars staying at the basis of the state’s development, besides education and supremacy of law. “If you have good roads, the economy is also developing, investments are coming,” the prime minister said. At the same time, the PM also said that, in 2019, the authorities would repair twice as many roads within this programme and the financial means would be doubled to this end.

Presently, repair works take place on another six construction sites and another nine road segments are to be rehabilitated till late 2018. The cost of the works exceeds 32 million lei.
