Chisinau, 20 October /MOLDPRES/ - Twenty rescuers of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) have benefited from a training course organized with the support of specialists from the United Kingdom.
The head of the IGSU press service, Liliana Puscasu, said that the training had lasted one week and had been carried out by four instructors-rescuers from the United Kingdom.
“Today, the IGSU specialists received certificates on finishing the course, held at the Valea Morilor (Mills Valley) lake during one week. The courses were organized by Operation Florian of the Great Britain, in partnership with the Eastern Alliance for Safe and Sustainable Transport,” Puscasu said.
According to Puscasu, IGSU has been cooperating with the British Operation Florian in the last five years. In January 2019, more employees of the Inspectorate are expected in the United Kingdom to continue their training in the field of rescue in water.
