About 300 buildings connected to heating

Chisinau, 22 October /MOLDPRES/- About 300 buildings were connected to the thermal agent one week after the start of the heating season in Chisinau.
The head of the communication and public relations service of Termoelectrica company, Elena Junghina, said that 117 kindergartens have been connected to the heating so far.
“At the same time, 16 schools, 18 hospitals, 60 dwelling houses, 22 private houses, two higher education institutions and 36 economic agents were connected to the heating,” Junghina said.
At present, the consumer's debt to the heat supplier is over 915 million lei, of which 898 million are debts of building residents.
During the weekly meeting of the Chisinau city hall today, Deputy Mayor Nistor Grozavu pointed out that, following an address, the connection to heating is done immediately. “If there are technical problems, the specialists intervene in the shortest time," Grozavu said.
Termoelectrica company annually provides 4,500 buildings, of which 2,900 are dwelling houses, 870 economic agents, 140 kindergartens, 160 schools and high schools, 70 medical institutions and 90 higher education institutions.
The weather is cool in the coming days. The air temperatures will reach +15 degrees during the day in the south, and at night up to +3 degrees Celsius in the north.
