Ion Creanga Street in Chisinau to be repaired

Chisinau, 22 October /MOLDPRES/- Ion Creangă street of Buiucani district is undergoing major repair. The head of the General Directorate of Transport and Communication, Vitalie Butucel, made the statement today at the weekly meeting of Chisinau city hall.
“At the same time, pavement and curb fitting works will be carried out. By late 2018, no interventions will be made on the road. Thus, traffic stops are not provided, or some work will be done at night or on rest days. The street will be ready for asphalt, due in next spring. We are waiting for some project solutions from "Chisinau Proiect" and we plan to carry out the works until next summer," Butucel said.
The project budget is 44 million lei. All work will be completed within one year. According to local authorities, this street has not been repaired for more than 30 years.
Also, there are currently works in the Valea Trandafirilor park in the capital, where 300 electric pylons will be installed. Already 30 pylons have been installed. Work will be completed this year.
