Chisinau, 23 October /MOLDPRES/- The total number of reports sent by public institutions, economic agents and citizens via the on - line platform - www.raportare.gov.md to the State Tax Service, the Ministry of Finance, the National Social Insurance House, the National Health Insurance Company and the National Statistics Bureau reached 1 million 250,000, according to the Center for Information Technologies in Finance (CTIF).

According to the press service, most reports, 1 million 229,800, were submitted by public institutions and economic agents.

The single window was launched on 27 January 2018, being the first centralized financial and statistical reporting service at the country level. It replaced the old reporting process when public institutions and economic agents presented separate reports for each of the five authorities with a single unified registration, authentication, validation and reporting process via - www.raportare.gov.md.

At present, 131 types of reports can be transmitted through the single window, most of them - 103 - for the State Tax Service. Reports can be sent with electronic signatures, issued by accredited centers.

The implementation of the single window of electronic reporting simplified the financial and statistical reporting process, shortened the duration and costs of the reporting process and reduced duplication of the same data in different reports by up to 40 percent.

The creation and launch of the single platform was carried out in accordance with the action plan on the public service modernization reform for 2017-2021 approved by the government decision of 9 August 2016. Since 1 August 2018, the platform is managed by the Center of Information Technologies in Finance.
