Several air flights delayed due to dense fog

Chisinau, 5 November /MOLDPRES/- Several air flights delayed today due to the dense fog on the Chisinau International Airport.

According to the official website of Chisinau International Airport, there are delays of almost three hours to Istanbul direction.

At the same time there are delays of over two hours in the landing flights of Minsk, Istanbul, Bucharest and Moscow.

Press officer of the National Patrolled Inspectorate (INP) Natalia Golovco said that road traffic on national roads is currently under dense fog. "For this reason, the visibility is less than 100 meters and the road is wet. INP recommends that drivers adapt their road speed and visibility, keep a sufficiently large distance from the front vehicle in order to be able to stop safely if it suddenly slows down. The Patrol Inspectorate employees are working on the country's routes to ensure traffic safety,” Golovco said.

The head of the weather forecasts center of the State Hydrometeorological Service, Ghenadie Rosca, said that the fog will completely disperse at noon.

According to meteorologists, today the sky is variable. For the next few days, the air temperatures of +3 degrees Celsius are forecast at night in the north and +15 degrees Celsius during the day in the south.
