Moldova to receive 30.1 million euros to finish process of assessment, registration of land property

Chisinau, 8 November /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today ratified an agreement on financing between Moldova and the International Development Association (IDA), to carry out a project on registration and assessment of land. Thus, Moldova will receive 30.1 million euros to complete the process of assessment and registration of the private and public land property.

The actions of evaluation and registration will be carried out based on the financing agreement between Moldova and IDA, through which a loan worth 30.1 million euros will be earmarked. The resources will be provided under investment project. The financial conditions related to the loan see a maturity period of 30 years, including a five-year grace period; the reimbursement will be made in half-yearly payments, with a fixed annual interest rate of 1.38 per cent.

The financing agreement between Moldova and the International Development Association for the implementation of the project on registration and assessment of land was signed in Chisinau on 17 September 2018.
