SPPS employees to get monthly rent allowances

Chisinau, 9 November /MOLDPRES/- Employees of the State Protection and Guard Service (SPPS) will benefit for the period of work from the right to compensation of costs for renting a dwelling. The promulgation decree and the law amending Article 491 of the law on state protection and guard service have been published in the Official Journal of Moldova.

Under the new regulations, the allowance for the rental of the dwelling will be given to the protection officer if he cannot afford a service dwelling. The amount of allowance will be set by government. Compensation expenses of renting an apartment will take place from 1 January 2019.

The government within three months upon its publication in the Official Journal of Moldova will bring its normative acts in line with it.

According to the estimations made by the authorities, about 2 million 880 thousand lei annually will be required to implement this guarantee.
