Mioriţă Laie-Bucălaie Festival held in southern Moldova

Chisinau, 10 November /MOLDPRES/- "Mioriţa Laie-Bucălaie" is the title of a festival that will be held today and tomorrow in Cimişlia. The event aims to promote occupations, traditions and customs specific to the southern region of the country.

The festival's agenda includes an exhibition-fair of sheep and goats, as well as an international conference on Good Practices from Us. Breeders and producers in the region and abroad, scientists will discuss the latest news in the field.

Also, national sports competitions will be organized in Cimislia for two days.

Culinary contests to the best traditional specialties will take place at the event.

The festival is organized by the National Federation of Sheep and Goat Breeders of Moldova, in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment, local authorities.

Cimislia district is famous for many events of this kind, which have become known not only in the country, but also abroad.
