Over 1,600 people participated in sanitation campaign in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 12 November /MOLDPRES/- Over 1,600 people in the capital participated on weekend in a campaign for collecting foliage. The head of the general housing and planning department, Ion Burdiumov, made the statement today at a weekly meeting of the Chisinau city hall.
50 units of leaf removal technique and five specialised vacuum cleaners were involved in the process.
At the same time, the municipal authorities announced that this week the green space creation will continue in the capital, and about 3,000 trees will be planted.
The Chisinau city hall organized on weekend an action of collecting foliage in the courtyards of the blocks of flats.
