Over 41,000 doctors funded by CNAM to get higher wages, Moldovan Democrats say

Chisinau, 13 November /MOLDPRES/- Over 41,000 doctors who are funded by the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM) will receive higher salaries. The leader of the Democratic Party (PDM), Vlad Plahotniuc, made the statement today.
Starting from 1 December, following the salary reform, the wages of doctors funded from the state budget will be increased, and today, at the PDM meeting, solutions have been found like the 41,000 doctors funded by CNAM to benefit from increased wages.
“Thus, physicians who are paid from CNAM will get a 20 percent higher salary and 10 percent - medical staff," Plahotniuc said.
Also, Plahotniuc said that pensioners receiving pensions below the minimum subsistence level will have 10 percent higher pensions next year.
Previously, the PDM leadership announced that on 1 December 2018, about 200,000 state employees will benefit from wage increase of between 20 and 90 percent, and no state employee has a salary less than 2,000 lei.
