Chisinau, 13 November /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s parliament denies information spread today by the Russian agencies TASS and RIA Novosti, dealing with an alleged communiqué on the status of pensioners.
We regret the distribution of fake news and we warn that a draft law on the pensioners living outside Moldova is registered in parliament and stipulates additional facilities for this category of persons. In particular, the legislative initiative, signed by the head of the commission for social protection, health and family, Valentina Buliga, sees that the persons who changed their residence in a state with which Moldova has signed an agreement on social insurances, submit the application on retirement and the needed documents to the territorial body of social insurance from the last residence in Moldova, which is compulsorily recorded. The author reasons the proposal by the constitutional right to pension of all Moldova’s citizens, no matter their residence.
It is worth mentioning that the government’s note to this draft has not been approved so far, and for a law to enter into force, it must be adopted by Moldova’s parliament.
We express openness in continuation for cooperation with all media institutions and we encourage the press to check the information on the institution’s work, in order to avoid the misinforming of the public.
