755 people bought dwelling under First Home programme

Chisinau, 14 November /MOLDPRES/- A number of 755 people have bought their own home under the First Home programme.

Another 21 beneficiaries are awaiting signing credit agreements, and 60 applications are to be reviewed by specialists.

Thus, out of the 836 eligible applicants, 607 are young families and 229 - unmarried. The average age of those who applied for credits is 31 years.

According to data by the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Organization, the total amount of loans granted by banks is 353 million lei. The area of an apartment is on average 59 square meters. The average value of dwellings is 550,000 lei.

The First Home programme was launched on 26 March 2018.
