Business support centre opened in Comrat

Chisinau, 14 November /MOLDPRES/- A Business Information and Support Centre was recently opened in Comrat, as part of an initiative launched by the European Union.
The centre was opened by government of Gagauzia, funded by EU under the Mayors for Economic Growth initiative. The activity of the new structure will be meant to provide informational and advisory support to people who intend to start a business or already have a business and want to develop it.
Under the project, in the three district centers in Gagauzia - Comrat, Ceadâr-Lunga and Vulcăneşti – there will be offices, where the representatives of the business environment will benefit from the assistance of specialists in economics, accounting, marketing and management.
"The main purpose of this centre is to help business and improve business infrastructure in the region," sources in Comrat said.
The project has a budget of 520,000 euros, of which 430,000 euros have been allocated by the EU, and the rest is the contribution of local authorities.
Mayors for Economic Growth - is a EU initiative that was launched in January 2017 within the Eastern Partnership.
The initiative aims to support mayors and local administrations in Partnership countries to become active facilitators of economic growth and job creation at local level.
