Chisinau, 16 November /MOLDPRES/- The Law on Public Procurement with all amendments and additions was published in the Official Journal of Moldova today.

The document sets ways for calculating the estimated value of public procurement contracts, procurement participants, requirements for the procurement procedure and resolution of disputes.

The law is applied to contracts which estimated value is equal or higher than 80,000 lei for procurement of goods and services, 100,000 lei – procurement of works and 400,000 – procurement of social services and other specific services.

Some amendments to the law will come into force on 1 January 2019.

The law was passed by parliament in 2015, and so far there have been several amendments and additions to it.
