Best students in Moldova can compete for 12,000 lei scholarship

Chisinau, 16 November /MOLDPRES/- The best students in the country can submit their applications for merit scholarships worth 12,000 lei.

The documents can be submitted by 17 December 2018.

This year, 50 scholarships will be provided, of which 35 will be for the students of the last year of higher education and 15 - for the students of the first year of master's degree.

According to the University Information Centre, applicants have to meet several eligibility criteria. Thus, they must be citizens and residents of the Republic of Moldova, the age limit of 30 years, be enrolled in the final year of studies or first year of masters studies, have a good academic success and demonstrate participation in curricular and extracurricular activities.

The Merit Scholarships - for the Best Students programme, 23rd edition, is organized under the aegis of the Moldovan Rectors' Council, with the financial support of a commercial bank and a mobile telephony operator.
