New-type post office opened in central Moldova district

Chisinau, 16 November /MOLDPRES/ - The first post office made of sandwich panels was inaugurated in the Central Calarasi district today.   

At the inauguration ceremony, the director general of the Posta Moldovei (Moldova’s Post) state enterprise, Serghei Nastas, said that the opening of this type of post offices came as a an optimum solution to cut expenses for the repair and re-directing money to other post offices in need of renovation or opened for serving clients. “Although there is a little sun outdoors, there is always warmth in our soul when a post office is inaugurated. The management of the Posta Moldovei state enterprise will further come up with the new achievements, so that citizens feel our   involvement and support in providing quality post services, so that going to the post office is a pleasant process,” Nastas noted.      

„Changes make our life easier. The placement of the new post office is very good, which means that more categories of people will have access to post services,” the Calarasi town mayor, Nicolae Melnic, said.  

The Calarasi post office is placed in the centre of the worn. The window has high-level conditions both for citizens and the enterprise’s employees. Two persons will work at the post office and citizens will have access to post and banking services. “Together we are proud that, starting from today, we can provide services also to the residents of the villages Seliste and Tuzara, with 2,200 residents. This was a need for the clients of the Calarasi district,” the director of the Calarasi-based post centre, Natalia Jeverdan, said.

This is the third post office made of sandwich panels in Moldova. The first post office of this type was opened in the Catranac village, western Falesti district, followed by the inauguration of another one in the Ghidighici village, Chisinau municipality. The Posta Moldovei state enterprise is set to open more post offices of this kind in all districts.
