Six traffic accudents occur on roads of Moldova in last hours

Chisinau, 19 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 28 people have been injured in the wake of six traffic accidents which occurred on Moldova’s roads in the last hours, due the unfriendly weather conditions.
According to the National Patrol Inspectorate (INP), the accidents took place because of the speed, loss of control over the vehicle and because not all drivers have equipped their cars with winter tyres.
Presently, 53 INP teams work on public roads to ease the traffic.
To prevent traffic accidents, INP recommend that drivers adapt the speed to the road and traffic conditions and equip the vehicles with proper tyres. At the same time, drivers beginners should avoid, as far as possible, driving the car in unfriendly conditions, during night and on big distances.
The State Hydrometeorological Service announced Yellow Code of complicated weather conditions for today. Meteorologists forecast heavy precipitation, preponderantly snow and sleet. At the same time, layers of sleet will appear, glazed frost in places and snow drifts. The warning is valid for all the territory of Moldova.
