Three education institutions cease working over bad weather in Moldova

Chisinau, 20 November /MOLDPRES/ - Three education institutions from seven Moldovan districts today ceased working because of snowed-up roads and lack of power.  

According to the Education, Culture and Research Ministry, another six schools shortened their working schedule and 13 routes which were to carry pupils to education institutions were suspended. Thus, about 900 pupils failed to attend classes. 

Data shows that it is about pupils from the districts of Calarasi, Floresti, Nisporeni, Orhei, Sangerei, Telenesti and Ungheni.  

Meteorologists informed that the weather would maintain cool on the days to come and snowfall is expected in some regions of Moldova.
