Moldovan minister of economy requests solutions to weather-related disconnections

Chisinau, 21 November /MOLDPRES/- Bad weather conditions, which left many localities out of electricity, have led authorities to seek new solutions to supply consumers with electricity. Thus, Minister of Economy and Infrastructure Chiril Gaburici urged administrators to take urgent action to find alternative measures for the localities to be reconnected to power until the restoration of the normal activity scheme.

Also, Gaburici expressed concern about the disconnection of educational and medical institutions from power. "If there is no B plan - there may be serious consequences," he said.

Snowfalls in recent days have left several localities without electricity. In the morning, the authorities announced that residents of three villages are still in the dark.
