Moldovan fruits to be staged at forum in Romania

Chisinau, 21 November /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan fruit producers and exporters will present the apple, plum and grapes harvest at a forum, Vegetables-Fruits, held in Bucharest, Romania.

Producers and exporters of fruit and grapes from Moldova are participating for the second time in the event. According to Moldova Fruct Association, 14 Moldovan entrepreneurs will be able to get to know the new trends in increasing competitiveness in the field, analyzes of the international and regional market, purchasing behavior, performance of various sales channels, strategic directions in the supplier-buyer collaboration.

The executive director of Moldova Fruct Association, Iurie Fala, believes that Romania has become the second most important destination for Moldova's fruit exports. For example, in the first 10 months of 2018, over 8,600 tons of plums were exported, up by 32% compared to the same period of the previous year.

The event is one of the most important in the neighboring country, attended by distributors, manufacturers and importers from Romania and Central and Eastern Europe, suppliers of solutions and services.
