Young people from socially vulnerable families to benefit from education scholarships in Moldova

Chisinau, 21 November /MOLDPRES/ - Thirty young will benefit from scholarships worth 10,000 lei each within the Scholarships for Your Future! Programme, the 2018-2019 issue. The programme is organized with the financial support of a commercial bank and backed by the Education, Culture and Research Ministry and Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry.
The programme’s goal is to support young people coming from socially vulnerable families, in order to facilitate their access to education in higher education institutions from Moldova. The scholarships are provided on contest basis and are meant to cover the needs dealing with the education: education fee, expenses for accommodation, meal, school supplies, etc.
The beneficiaries will be able to put up their candidacies for renewing scholarships for the next academic year, if they successfully finished the previous academic year, showing performances in education and involvement in extra-curricular activities.
The first-year degree-cycle students admitted to education with full-time attendance to one of the university institutions accredited in Moldova or stipended students of the previous issue of this programme (2017-2018), who can put up their candidacies for renewing the scholarship, are eligible.
To apply to the programme, young people are to submit a file consisting of the filled in application form, as well as other documents demanded. The application form and the regulation of the programme can be demanded at the headquarters of the University Information Centre.
The files can be submitted till 30 November 2018.
