Drivers can pay tax for roads' use online in Moldova

Chisinau, 21 November /MOLDPRES/ – Starting this week, the drivers can pay the road tax online for vehicles registered in Moldova throughout the Government Electronic Payment Service (MPay).

In order to simplify the payment method, the Electronic Government Agency (AGE) has developed a functional, fast and secure online payment method for using roads similar to the kindergarten fee. The payment may be made only by the holders of the means of transport registered in Moldova.

For this, the payer must go to mpay.gov.md, fill out the necessary data for processing the payment, and indicate the tax amount. This can be calculated using the online computer of the State Tax Service (SFS), which can be accessed on the service.fisc.md site.

The drivers must keep their online payment confirmation in order to show them if necessary at auto test stations.

At present, through the MPay service, there can be paid around 90 public services, taxes, tarrifs and fines.
