Moldova IT Park's work to be simplified

Chisinau, 21 November /MOLDPRES/ – The list of activities that can be deployed in IT parks will be expanded and there will be simplified the procedures for annual verification of activity of the residents. The government has today approved amendments to the legislation on the establishment and evaluation of the Moldova IT Park activity, the government's communications and protocol department has informed.

Thus, there will be developed R&D activities, as well as training in IT, design and digital graphics within the parks. There will also be simplified processes related to the convening and holding of the General assembly of the residents.

The first information technology park in Moldova – Moldova IT Park started its activity on 01 January 2018. Currently, it has 299 residents, including 87 IT companies with foreign capital. The projected sales revenue for 2018 is over MDL 1.8 billion. The average monthly salary of employees of residents of Moldova IT Park is about MDL 24,000 per month.
