Chisinau, 22 November /MOLDPRES/- A joint meeting of the Moldovan and Romanian governments started in Bucharest today. It was preceded by a meeting between prime ministers Pavel Filip and Viorica Dancila.
Moldovan Prime Minister Pavel Filip said the two states have historical relations. "I think it would be little to say that we have good or excellent relations, as the relations between the Republic of Moldova and Romania go beyond this axis. We are in a common linguistic, cultural and values space," he said.
Romanian Prime Minister Viorica Dancila said "this meeting is particularly important, especially because it is held in the centenary year." "This year we have to consider the impetus of the bilateral, economic and trade relations between the two countries," she said.
After the meeting, several bilateral agreements will be signed in various fields, the Moldovan government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
