Chisinau, Bucharest to carry out joint investment projects within tourism

Chisinau, 22 November /MOLDPRES/ – Moldova and Romania will carry out joint investment projects in the field of tourism, based on an agreement signed today in Bucharest by the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure, Chiril Gaburici, and the Minister of Tourism in Romania, Bogdan Trif.
According to Chiril Gaburici, the cooperation will also aim to promote different types of tourism and exchange of experience and info on the activity of tourism organisations.
In a press release, the Romanian Ministry of Tourism stated that Moldova and Romania agreed on the development of tourist promotion and info materials, the organisation of documentary visits for journalists and experts in the field, as well as the participation in events and fairs of tourism. "In this respect, Romania has already developed a common cultural route with Moldova, Ruler Stefan cel Mare Route," is stated in the press release.
In Bucharest, Chiril Gaburici also signed the Memorandum of Understanding for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship and Economic and Corporate Cooperation. "In the light of this document, it will be provided logistical support for promotional actions, organising startup missions and promotional meetings, including the dissemination of promotional actions, identifying possible sources of funding for start up programmes and projects", said Minister Gaburici.
Another memorandum signed by the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure aims to promote business cooperation in third markets. The Romanian Ministry of Business, Commerce and Entrepreneurship said in a press release that the document focuses on stimulating internationalisation of companies. According to the source, the two ministries will organise joint events – business forums and trade missions, where Romanian and Moldovan companies will interact and exchange info on trade, cooperation and investment opportunities in third markets.
On 22 November 2018, in Bucharest, it was held the joint meeting of the Government of Moldova and Romania.
