Smoke detectors installed in several homes in Moldova

Chisinau, 23 November /MOLDPRES/- Several families in Drochia and Causeni districts benefited from smoke detectors that had been installed in their homes by rescuers in a campaign to prevent the risk of fires and poisoning with carbon monoxide.
According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU), 62 smoke detectors were installed in households in Ţarigrad and Pelinia villages, Drochia district. The firefighters spoke to people about the danger of fire and about the actions to be taken in case of the sound of the detectors.
At the same time, IGSU employees in Causeni district installed 159 smoke detectors in 119 dwellings in Căuşeni, Baccealia, Grigorievca, Plop-Ştiubei, Coşcalia, Ucrainca, Zaim and Carnatenii Noi. Other 64 smoke detectors are to be installed in Hagimus, Cârnăţeni, Căinari, Tocuz, Săiţi and Chircăieşti.
In the shortest time, rescuers will install smoke detectors in nearly 100 private households in the districts of Ungheni, Calarasi and Cantemir.
