U.S. dollar to appreciate against Moldovan leu in early next week

Chisinau, 23 November /MOLDPRES/ – The US dollar will be even more expensive early next week. It will appreciate by MDL 0,02, up to the official quotation of MDL 17,17.

On the other hand, the European single currency (EUR) will cheapen by MDL 0,09. Thus, €1 will cost on Monday, 26 November, MDL 19,49, according to the official exchange rates displayed by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM) today.

The Romanian leu (RON) will be cheaper. It will depreciate by MDL 0,02 and reach the value of MDL 04,18. The Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) will keep its cost of MDL 0,61, and the Russian rouble (RUB) will cost, as today, MDL 0,26.

According to BNM's data, in October 2018, the Moldovan leu (MDL) depreciated, in average values, by 1.3 per cent against the USD.
