Glazed frost maintains on more roads in Moldova

Chisinau, 24 November /MOLDPRES/ - Glazed frost is maintained on more roads in Moldova and roadmen continue monitoring the dangerous segments and intervene if needed.

According to data put out by the State Administration of Roads (ASD), the glazed frost persists on certain segments on the highway Chisinau-Ungheni-Sculeni, Chisinau-Dubasari, Chisinau-Hancesti and Balti-Sangerei.

At the same time, during the last night, 22 workers and 15 special vehicles worked on national roads, spreading 60 tons of anti-skid material.

ASD recommend that the drivers comply with the provisions of the road traffic regulations, especially the ones dealing with the endowment of vehicles and their driving in winter time.

According to the State Hydrometeorological Service, the weather is to maintain cool on the next days and snowfall is expected all over the country next week, with sleet in some regions.
