Moldovan PM, President of Slovakia discuss Moldova's European integration

Chisinau, 24 November /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip discussed with President of Slovakia in Kiev today, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Pavel Filip and Andrej Kiska referred to the European integration of Moldova. The Slovakian president said that his country would further support Moldova’s European integration efforts, as well as the promotion of reforms for the country’s modernization.
The officials exchanged opinions, in the context of Slovakia taking over the OSCE chairmanship in January 2019. Prime Minister Pavel Filip voiced hope for a close and efficient cooperation during this mandate, stressing the importance to boost the dialogue within the political negotiations on the Transnistrian file.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip is on a visit to Kiev to participate in the events dedicated to the victims of Holodomor (man-made famine in the Soviet Ukraine). More officials attend the solemn ceremony, among whom the presidents of Slovakia and Latvia.
