Chisinau, 27 November /MOLDPRES/- Starting tomorrow, November 28, the bridge over the Dniester River near Unguri and Bronnita localities on the Moldovan-Ukrainian border will be opened under test for international traffic. Thus, traffic of means of transport for passengers and goods, with a maximum authorized weight of up to 3.5 tons, will be permitted, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The opening of traffic through Unguri customs post will allow the dispersion of the increased flows in Otaci Customs, about 8 km away. Currently, the circulation through Otaci customs post is complicated by the rehabilitation works on the territory of Moghiliov-Podolsk customs post in Ukraine. The works started on 2 November 2018, being scheduled for a two-month period.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip and his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Groysman, agreed on opening traffic of cars under test regime on the bridge over the Dniester River near Unguri and Bronnita, at the 24 November meeting in Kiev.
