Almost 5,000 postmen to have higher wages in December

Chisinau, 27 November /MOLDPRES/- Over 4,800 postal workers from villages and employees of the Moldovan Post Office will benefit from salary increase up to 100% in December. Democratic leader Vlad Plahotniuc made the statement today.

According to Plahotniuc, rural postmen will get the largest salary increase. "We have decided to increase wages considerably - from 35 to 100 percent for Moldovan Post Office employees, who have low wages. Based on appeals we have got from citizens, we asked the government that starting from next month, postmen to take home pensions to people seeking this,” he said.

He noted that increase in wages, pensions and aid have become possible as the current government had managed to accumulate significant budget revenues, due order and reform, ensuring stable economic growth.
