Chisinau, 27 November /MOLDPRES/ - The budgetary employees and the employees of the self-financed institutions will receive bonuses before the holidays. Also, annual bonuses will be paid, the so-called 13th salary, due to be raised in next February. The leader of the Moldovan Democratic Party (PDM), Vlad Plahotniuc, made statements to this effect today.
The PDM leader rejected the charges, made by the opposition, alleging that, following the wage payment reform, the holiday bonuses would no longer be provided. Plahotniuc noted that the money would be offered, just as each year, from budgetary sources or from savings made by institutions.
Plahotniuc also said that the annual bonuses, the so-called 13th salary, would be preserved as well. The budget sector employees will continue receiving them in February and the education sector employees will get them in August, just as they used to receive these bonuses each year.
“The PDM governance knows how to maintain and boost this growth of the economy, so that, both in 2019 and in the next years, we come up with increases in salaries and pensions, bonuses and assistance for all categories of citizens, so that the people live better here, at home,” Plahotniuc added.
