Several doctors of Mother, Child Institute in Chisinau get state distinctions

Chisinau, 29 November /MOLDPRES/- Several doctors from the Mother and Child Institute in the capital received today state distinctions from President Igor Dodon.

At the same time, the head of state gave the institute the Order of the Republic. "The award was a sign of deep appreciation of the special merits in health care, contribution to the implementation of advanced methods of diagnosis and treatment, training highly qualified specialists," he said.

“Also, for outstanding achievements in children's health care, contribution to the improvement of the curative and diagnostic process and high professionalism, we awarded high state distinctions to a group of medical workers in this institution. We thank hospital staff for their dedication and professionalism, responsibility and perseverance,” he said.

The Mother and Child Institute in the capital was founded in 1982, and over 2,000 medical workers, including 52 scientific collaborators, are currently working here. Within the institution, over 10,000 surgeries are performed annually, about 40,000 patients are treated and more than 6,000 women receive nursing care at birth.
