Moldovan economic agents can request any permissive document issued by AMDM in electronic form

Chisinau, 29 November /MOLDPRES/- The economic agents operating on the Moldovan pharmaceutical market may apply for the issuance of six permissive documents, issued by the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (AMDM) in electronic format, through the Automated Information System for management and issuance of permissive documents.

According to AMDM director general Vladislav Zara, the use of the single window will minimize the interaction of the economic agents with AMDM, ensuring not only private sector savings, but also transparency in the activity of the regulatory authority in the field of medicine.

"Thus, entrepreneurs will no longer have to spend time and money to travel to the Agency's office and fill in all documents. At the same time, our specialists will not interact with entrepreneurs, which reduces the risks," Zara said.

At present AMDM issues the following permissive documents: authorization to work with the use of premises related to the circulation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors, authorization for import / export of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors, license for pharmaceutical activity, permit for import of medicines, authorization on manufacturing medicines.

So far, through the Automated Information System for management and issuance of permissive documents of AMDM, 356 requests for issuing permits have been submitted. Of the total number of applications, 243 permits were issued, 66 returned and 56 are under work.
