Over 550 thousand pensioners to get MDL 600 before holidays in Moldova

Chisinau, 29 November /MOLDPRES/ – Almost 553,000 pensioners will get MDL 600 before the holidays. A draft law in this regard was adopted by the MPs at first reading today.
According to the project, people with pensions of less than MDL 2,000 will receive a unique financial aid from the state in the amount of MDL 600 in the second half of December. For it, it will be allocated about MDL 335 million from state budget (BS).
Around 553,000 persons will benefit from it, of which over 400,000 are old-age pension beneficiaries. The rest are beneficiaries of disability pensions, survivor's pensions, and about 600 persons are term soldiers or members of their families.
