State budget revenues up by about 10%

Chisinau, 30 November /MOLDPRES/- Total revenues of the state budget increased by 9.8% in January-October 2018 compared to the same period of 2017. They amounted to 29,854.1 million lei, according to data provided by the Ministry of Finance.

State budget expenditures amounted to 29,787.3 million lei, increasing by 9%. Most money was spent on services in the economy, education, social protection, public order and state services. The state budget execution in 10 months of 2018 ended with a surplus of 66.8 million lei.

The largest revenue generator for the state budget was the Customs Service. Its revenues amounted to 17,404.8 million lei, up by 5%. The receipts from the revenues administered by the State Tax Service amount to 13,578.8 million lei, up by 16.7% compared to the same period of 2017.

From the total revenues, tax receipts amounted to 27,863.4 million lei, up by 9.1% against the same period of last year. Income tax receipts increased by 28.6%.
