Chisinau, 30 November /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister, Pavel Filip, visited the Molltex Grup textile factory in Donduseni city today. The company is an investment of MDL 35 million and is part of the Romanian group Ostazar. The investor was convinced to come to Moldova in 2017 by Pavel Filip, and now it is expanding his business in the north of Moldova and plans to open factories in other localities. This is the second factory of Molltex Grup, the first being opened in Balti in May 2018, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

The new enterprise in Donduseni was built in just 5 months, and since 01 July 2018, there are 127 employees. At the same time, the factory has a capacity of 750 jobs with the possibility of extending up to 1,200. The textile products made by workers are exported to Romania and to the European Union.

The PM visited the production hall and talked to employees about working conditions and pay levels. The people were pleased with the amount of the salary, but also with the facilities provided by the employer – he pays the transportation costs to the factory. The Head of the Executive said that a difficulty has remained the lack of labour force: "We are in the situation when we created enough jobs in Moldova. Now we have to find more people who want to work on these factories."

Oztasar SRL, established in Romania in 2000, is today among the leading companies, including four factories in Prahova and Dambovita counties, and a design and logistics centre based in the United Kingdom. In recent years, the company ranks first in Romania after the volume of exports.
