Moldovan PM attends reception organized on National Day of Romania

Chisinau, 1 December /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Pavel Filip participated yesterday in a reception organized in Chisinau on the occasion of the National Day of Romania. On this occasion, the premier sent a congratulatory message to the Romanian people, stressing that Romania is more than a friend and a partner for the Republic of Moldova, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
In this context, the premier thanked the Romanian side for permanent support, including European path. However, Filip noted that the special relationship between our states is confirmed by concrete projects of energy infrastructure, road, education, electronic communications and drinking water supply.
"There are relationships that people have in a common linguistic and cultural space. We were committed to enlarge this space - to live in a space that is also linked to a common infrastructure. And I think that, in this way, the connection between our states will become even more profound,” he said.
For his part, Ambassador of Romania to Chisinau Daniel Ionita said that our country is a privileged strategic partner and will be further supported in its European aspirations. "I assure you that the Republic of Moldova will receive increased attention during the entire European mandate of Romania. We remain the strongest supporter and we act with love for materializing our many bilateral projects, for the benefit of citizens," he said.
