Two other cases of influenza AH1N1 recorded in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 3 December /MOLDPRES/- Two more cases of influenza AH1N1 were recorded in the capital. The announcement was made today at a weekly meeting of Chisinau city hall.

According to the information, it is about a child aged four years and a 17-year-old teenager. Currently, they are hospitalized at the Municipal Clinical Hospital for Contagious Diseases for Children and at the Municipal Clinical Hospital no.1. The condition of one of the children is serious and the second one - the middle.

Last week, local authorities announced the record of the first AH1N1 influenza case this season.

The person is 58 years old.

At the same time, about 2,850 people in the capital arrived in public healthcare institutions last week with acute respiratory infections, more than 4% compared to two weeks ago, when there were 2,700 cases. Most affected are children up to 4 years. Also last week, 11 cases of tuberculosis were recorded.
