Chisinau, 05 December /MOLDPRES/ – The Government has approved the decision on establishment of the National Register of Qualifications (RNC), which is an automated, independent and efficient info system for registering, developing and updating qualifications. The Register is also a tool for ensuring the quality of vocational training, transparency and legibility of technical and higher education in relations with the labour market.
There will be registered the qualifications from the National Qualifications Framework of Moldova in RNC. The National Qualifications Framework of Moldova (CNCRM) is a national system of unique qualifications, encompassing all levels and forms of education, as well as being oriented towards satisfying specific needs in qualified labour market field. It also supports national policies and strategies within education and training, in line with European policies in this field.
The establishment of RNC is determined by the lack of a single info system with regard to the qualifications of the CNCRM, the systematisation of national professional qualifications according to the qualification levels and training areas. Also, the structured info on the learning outcomes of vocational training programs offered by technical and higher education institutions is lacking. The broad public access to structured info on providers of vocational training services and professional qualifications they offer is limited.
The control over the way of holding of the National Register of Qualifications (RNC) is carried out by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research (MECC).
