All billboards on Ion Creanga street in capital to be removed

Chisinau, 6 December /MOLDPRES/- All billboards and advertising devices on Ion Creangă Street in Chisinau will be removed in connection with the repair works.

Following a decision, traders holding advertising devices must evacuate them within one month. If they fail to do so, Buiucani Praetor’s Office will forcibly remove advertising devices by 11 January 2019.

The head of the General Directorate of Transport and Communication, Vitalie Butucel, previously said that the Ion Creangă street in Buiucani is undergoing major repairs. Thus, by late 2018 electric pillars and contact nets will be changed. Also, the street will be ready for asphalt, due to be held next spring.

Ion Creangă Street has a length of about 2 km and the project budget is 44 million lei. All work is to be completed for one year. According to local authorities, this street has not been repaired for more than 30 years.
