Moldovan foreign affairs minister meets Estonian counterpart

Chisinau, 6 December /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi and his Estonian counterpart Sven Mikser have discussed the boosting of the bilateral dialogue, economic and sectoral cooperation between Moldova and Estonia, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.
In the context, Sven Mikser reiterated Estonia’s support for Moldova’s European integration, highlighting the importance to continue the process of reforms and strengthen the rule of law state for the benefit of the citizens, as well as to carry out the Moldova-EU Association Agreement. The Estonian official reconfirmed the support provided by Estonia through the programme on cooperation for development.
Minister Tudor Ulianovschi expressed appreciations for the political support provided by Estonia within European institutions and international organizations, as well as for the assistance to implement numerous projects in Moldova.
In another context, the two officials exchanged opinions on developments in the Transnistrian conflict settlement process, including prospects for the 2019 year, in the context of Slovakia’s rotating chairmanship at OSCE.
Tudor Ulianovschi and Sven Mikser tackled subjects of interest on the regional and world agenda, emphasizing the importance of cooperation within international organizations.
